This trial tests a new radioactive drug (177Lu-TLX591) plus standard care against standard care alone for men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer that has progressed on an androgen receptor pathway inhibitor. The goal is to see if this targeted radiation can help control the cancer.

Who can take part

  • You must be a man at least 18 years old with prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
  • Your cancer must have gotten worse despite having low testosterone levels (from surgery or medication) and after taking a hormone therapy pill like abiraterone or enzalutamide for at least 12 weeks.
  • You must have a PET scan showing your cancer cells have a protein called PSMA, which the study drug can target.
  • You need to be in fairly good health, able to care for yourself, and have adequate blood cell counts, kidney, and liver function.
  • You cannot have had certain prior treatments like chemotherapy for advanced disease, other radioactive therapies, or a prior PSMA-targeted drug.
