  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have a diabetes diagnosis
  • If you have type 1 diabetes, you have had it for at least 5 years; type 2 diabetes is also OK
  • You are willing to sign a consent form and understand the study
  • You do not have other serious eye conditions like age-related macular degeneration or retinal vein blockage
  • You have not had surgery or laser treatment for any retinal disease
