Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with ITP for more than 6 months.
  • You have had your spleen removed and it didn't help, or you haven't had it removed and at least one prior ITP treatment (like steroids or immunoglobulin) did not work.
  • Your average platelet count from two blood tests during screening must be below 30,000, with no single count above 35,000.
  • You are willing to follow the study rules and sign a consent form.
