Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with episodic cluster headache and be within 5 days of your current cluster period.
  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You must have had at least 2 cluster bouts before, with at least 4 attacks per week lasting at least 4 weeks.
  • Your headaches are still happening or barely improved after trying standard preventive medicines like verapamil, topiramate, lithium, or steroids.
  • You cannot have certain other medical conditions or be on blood-thinning medicines.
