Vision screening study for children

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 3 and 8 years old.
  • Your child wears glasses or does not wear glasses.
  • Your child is not currently using special treatments to control nearsightedness (like atropine eye drops or special contact lenses).
  • Your child does not wear contact lenses.
  • Your child does not have any eye or health problem that could affect vision (other than crossing of the eyes).
  • Your child is not taking any medicine that could affect vision.
  • Your child is not allergic to the eye drops used in the study.
  • Your child does not have a known risk for a type of glaucoma called angle-closure glaucoma.
  • Your child is not in another study that could affect vision.
  • Your child has French medical insurance.
