Who can take part

  • You have hepatocellular carcinoma (the most common type of liver cancer) at a stage that can be treated with surgery, but you haven't had it yet.
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have not received any previous systemic treatment for your liver cancer, and you have never had surgery for this cancer.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • Your liver, kidney, and heart function are good enough, and your blood counts are within a certain range.
  • You are willing to use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after treatment ends.
