Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are in good enough physical condition to have surgery (able to walk and care for yourself)
  • You have bile duct cancer inside the liver that doctors think can be removed with surgery
  • Your kidneys work well enough (GFR of 30 or higher)
  • Your liver function is within safe limits (bilirubin level 25 or lower)
  • Your blood counts are adequate (platelets 100 or more, white blood cells 2.5 or more)
