Who can take part

  • You must be scheduled for prostate removal surgery (radical prostatectomy) and have a sample of your prostate tissue available.
  • You should be in generally good health, able to handle daily activities, and have normal organ function (liver, kidneys, blood counts).
  • No other active cancer or recent cancer treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy) in the past month.
  • If you or your partner could get pregnant, you must use condoms or avoid sex during the study and for 3 months after treatment.
