Who can take part
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of prostate cancer (by biopsy) and your doctors think you can have prostate removal surgery (radical prostatectomy)
- Your cancer is considered high risk based on at least one test: tumor stage T3 or higher on scans, Gleason score 8+, PSA 20 or higher, or lymph node spread in the region (N1)
- Your overall health is good enough for study treatment (ECOG 0–1)
- Your blood, liver, kidney, and heart function must be adequate (tests will be required)
- You must not have had hormone therapy or other prostate-cancer treatments before this study (no prior androgen deprivation, focal treatment, radiation, or chemotherapy)
- If you could father a child, you must use very reliable birth control during the study and for 120 days after the last dose
