Who can take part
- You have colon cancer that is stage T4 or N2 (tumor has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes), at least 12 cm from the anus.
- You are between 18 and 69 years old.
- You have not had any previous chemotherapy or other cancer treatment for your colon cancer.
- You are healthy enough for surgery, with no significant heart problems or other serious illnesses.
- You have no other cancer in the last 5 years (except possibly non-melanoma skin cancer).
