Who can take part

  • You have had a type of stroke or low blood flow condition in the brain (such as a mini-stroke or chronic reduction in blood flow).
  • A brain scan (CT or MRI) has shown that you do NOT have bleeding in your brain.
  • You do not have a serious disease that limits your life expectancy to less than 3 months.
  • You are willing and able to come back for regular check-ups during the study.
