- Age 18 to 80 years old
- Had a stroke caused by a blood clot in the middle cerebral artery (a major brain vessel)
- Had mechanical thrombectomy (a catheter procedure to remove the clot) with successful results (TICI 2c or 3 score)
- Currently hospitalized for this stroke
- Must be covered by French Social Security
- Able to give informed consent and cooperate with study requirements
