Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher, or your BMI is between 24 and 28 with at least one health issue like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, fatty liver, heart disease, or PCOS.
- You have tried and failed to lose weight with diet and exercise at least once.
- You do not have a type of obesity caused by a specific gene, another disease, or medication.
- You have no personal or family history of a rare thyroid cancer (medullary thyroid carcinoma) or a genetic condition called MEN2.
- You do not have moderate or severe depression, or a history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other serious psychiatric conditions.
