Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of rectal cancer (adenocarcinoma) from a biopsy.
- Your tumor is in the lower rectum (within 8 cm of the anal opening), or if it is higher, you have visible enlarged lymph nodes on an MRI or PET-CT scan.
- This is not a return (recurrence) of a previous rectal cancer.
- You are not taking part in another trial that would interfere with this study.
