Testing zelpultide alfa for preterm babies at risk of lung disease

Who can take part

  • Born between 22 weeks and 27 weeks 6 days of pregnancy
  • Received at least one dose of standard lung surfactant after birth
  • On a breathing machine with a tube in the windpipe
  • Able to get first dose of study drug within 96 hours of birth and within 48 hours of starting the breathing machine
  • Birth weight between 400 grams and 1,500 grams
  • No major birth defects of the heart or lungs
