Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (stage IIIB, IIIC, or IV) that cannot be surgically removed or treated with radiation and chemo.
- Your cancer must have high levels of the HER2 protein (HER2 overexpressing).
- You must not have received any prior systemic therapy for advanced or metastatic lung cancer.
- You must have a tumor tissue sample available for testing (can be from a new biopsy if needed).
- You must not have a history of certain heart conditions, lung inflammation, or severe lung disease.
