  • You have type 2 diabetes that is well-controlled (HbA1c less than 7.5%)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 23 and 35
  • You are currently taking medication to lower your cholesterol
  • You do not use insulin or GLP-1 receptor agonist injections
  • You are not allergic to bee products
  • You do not smoke, drink alcohol, or have liver, kidney, or heart problems
