Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old.
- You get short of breath when you exert yourself.
- A blood test shows a high NT-proBNP level (a sign of heart strain).
- An ultrasound of your heart shows an enlarged left upper chamber but no other heart failure changes.
- You do not have atrial fibrillation, a history of heart failure with reduced pumping ability, or current chest pain.
- You are not allergic to or currently taking SGLT2 inhibitors (a type of diabetes medicine).
