  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with esophageal squamous cell cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes or is locally advanced, but not to distant organs.
  • Your doctor plans to do surgery after you finish neoadjuvant therapy.
  • You are in good enough health to perform daily activities on your own (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • You do not have active autoimmune diseases, serious heart conditions, or uncontrolled bleeding risks.
