Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes for at least 3 years and up to 20 years.
  • You are right-handed, between 45 and 70 years old, and have at least 8 years of education.
  • You cannot have any metal implants or electronic devices that block an MRI scan.
  • You must have good enough vision and hearing to complete the tests.
  • You cannot have a history of stroke, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, severe mental illness, or substance abuse.
