Study on blocked heart arteries over 3 months

This study collects data from people who have a completely blocked heart artery and are having a procedure to try to open it. The information will help doctors learn more about these procedures and how to improve care for people like you.

This study tests whether a cardiac rehab program is helpful for people with a completely blocked heart artery (called a chronic total occlusion) before they have a procedure to open it (called PCI). The goal is to see if rehab improves your health and preparation for the procedure.

This trial tests whether a drug-coated balloon, used without a permanent stent, can safely open completely blocked heart arteries that have been blocked for at least 3 months. It may offer an option that avoids leaving a metal stent behind.

This study looks at people with a long-standing complete blockage in a heart artery. The goal is to understand risk factors and outcomes, which may help guide future treatments.

This trial studies whether opening a completely blocked heart artery (a CTO) with a procedure and stent helps reduce areas of low blood flow in the heart, compared with the best medicines alone. It uses heart scans to find people likely to benefit and then checks results again at 6 months.

This study looks at the long-term (10-year) outcomes of a specific stenting technique for patients with a chronic total occlusion (a complete blockage that has been there for at least 3 months) in a major heart artery. It aims to see how well the procedure works over time.
