Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You can do your daily activities without help (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • You have a type of rectal cancer called 'adenocarcinoma' that is pMMR or MSS (a protein or gene test result).
  • Your cancer is stage II or III, and the tumor is within about 12 cm of the anal opening.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for rectal cancer (like radiation, chemo, or immunotherapy).
