Who can take part
- You must have small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
- You must have had platinum-based chemotherapy (like cisplatin or carboplatin) and it stopped working or never fully worked.
- You need at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
- You must be in fairly good health—able to take care of yourself and do light activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your fasting triglyceride (blood fat) level must be below 300 mg/dL.
- You cannot have certain other cancers, active infections, or eye problems like night blindness.
