  • Suspected or confirmed hepatic encephalopathy based on standard medical guidelines
  • Completed at least primary school (year 6) education
  • Able to return for regular follow-up visits
  • No metal implants, pacemakers, or other reasons that would make an MRI unsafe
  • No history of stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy, or other brain diseases
