Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a specific type of high blood pressure in the lungs.
- In the past month, your symptoms of right heart failure (like swelling, shortness of breath) have worsened enough to need hospital care.
- During that hospital stay, you needed either IV diuretics (water pills) for at least 2 days, or medications to support your heart or blood pressure (inotropes or vasopressors).
- You are not participating if your high blood pressure in the lungs is due to other causes, or if your shock is from something other than right heart failure.
- You must be able to give written consent to use your medical data.
