Who can take part
- You have deep bone damage in your ankle bone (talus) with either intact cartilage on top or large cartilage lesions
- You are between 18 and 55 years old
- You have ankle pain that limits your daily activities (low functional scores on standard tests)
- You do not have active infections, HIV, hepatitis B or C, or autoimmune diseases
- You are not pregnant
- Your ankle joint alignment is relatively normal without severe deformities
