Bone marrow scaffold for ankle cartilage damage repair

Who can take part

  • You have deep bone damage in your ankle bone (talus) with either intact cartilage on top or large cartilage lesions
  • You are between 18 and 55 years old
  • You have ankle pain that limits your daily activities (low functional scores on standard tests)
  • You do not have active infections, HIV, hepatitis B or C, or autoimmune diseases
  • You are not pregnant
  • Your ankle joint alignment is relatively normal without severe deformities
