Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and can give consent.
- You are pregnant with twins that share one placenta but have separate sacs (monochorionic diamniotic).
- An ultrasound between 16 and 20 weeks showed that the blood flow to each baby's brain is different (discordant cerebroplacental ratio).
- Neither baby has a major birth defect or chromosome problem.
- You have not already been diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, twin anemia polycythemia sequence, or selective growth restriction.
