Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have chest pain due to stable angina or a recent heart attack (NSTEMI, unstable angina, or STEMI) and have already had a successful balloon/stent procedure on the main blocked artery.
  • You have at least one additional high-risk plaque in another artery that is not fully blocked but has features like soft plaque or large size, and is between 30-70% narrow.
  • The target plaque must be in a vessel that is between 2.5 mm and 3.75 mm wide, and not too long (under 20 mm).
  • You have not had prior bypass heart surgery, severe kidney disease, severe heart valve disease, or a very low heart pumping function.
