Who can take part
- You must be able to understand the study and give written permission (consent).
- You must have health coverage (social security).
- If you have fever (over 100.4°F / 38°C under the arm) and symptoms like muscle pain or headache, you may qualify for the fever group.
- Healthy volunteers must have no fever, infection, or inflammatory symptoms in the last 28 days.
- You cannot join if you have a chronic inflammatory disease, are on antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have been hospitalized recently.
- You cannot join if you are under legal guardianship or unable to consent.
