  • You are scheduled for a total hip replacement under spinal anesthesia.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 22 and 30.
  • You do not have any nerve, brain, mental, or hearing problems.
  • Your surgery is planned (not an emergency).
