Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with delayed sleep-wake phase disorder (your sleep time is naturally much later than most people's).
  • You are not taking any medications that affect pupil size, such as some antidepressants or eye drops.
  • You have no history of eye disease or eye surgery.
  • You do not have an unstable medical or psychiatric condition.
  • You do not work night shifts or have a very irregular sleep schedule that is not part of your sleep disorder.
  • You consume less than 400 mg of caffeine per day (about 4 cups of coffee).
