Who can take part

  • You have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (cancer has spread outside one lung).
  • You have not had any prior chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy for this lung cancer.
  • You are 18 years or older and in generally fair health (able to do daily activities).
  • You do not have an active autoimmune disease, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV.
  • You have no active, uncontrolled brain metastases (if you have brain metastases, they must be treated and stable).
