Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • You have one or more foot ulcers below the ankle, between 1 and 25 cm² in size.
  • You have peripheral artery disease (poor circulation in your legs).
  • Your wound infection level is low (Grade 1 or less).
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or able to become pregnant without using effective birth control.
