Who can take part
- You must have type 2 diabetes for at least one year.
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer on one foot that is larger than 2 cm² but no larger than 4 cm² and hasn't healed for at least 4 weeks with standard treatment.
- You haven't started any new diabetes medicine in the 2 weeks before treatment.
- You agree not to use steroids for the week before the procedure.
- You are not taking strong immune-suppressing drugs or high-dose steroids.
- You do not have an active bone infection or severe circulation problems in your leg.
