Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and a foot ulcer that hasn't healed for at least 3 weeks despite standard care.
- Your ulcer involves both infection and poor blood flow (Wagner-Armstrong grade 1D or 2D).
- You have a blocked artery below the knee that was successfully opened with a balloon procedure.
- You are not on dialysis, not using certain other wound treatments (like vacuum therapy, maggots, or platelet-rich fibrin), and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have not been in another clinical trial in the last 3 months and are expected to live at least 6 more months.
