Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, with a recent blood sugar test (HbA1c) of 10% or less.
  • You have a foot ulcer that has not healed for at least 3 weeks despite standard care.
  • You have had a blocked artery in your lower leg treated with balloon angioplasty, and the procedure was successful.
  • You are not using certain wound treatments like negative pressure therapy or maggot therapy, and you are not on dialysis for kidney failure.
