Who can take part

  • You are 60 years old or older.
  • You are generally healthy and have no major injuries or chronic illnesses.
  • You have not been doing any strength training for the past 6 months (or you do it less than once a week).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30.
  • You do not have any serious leg or foot problems that affect your strength or balance.
