- You are 18 years or older.
- You have moderate-to-severe esophagitis confirmed by an endoscopy (grade B, C, or D).
- You have had acid reflux symptoms like heartburn or regurgitation for at least 4 weeks.
- You have not taken vonaprazan or esomeprazole in the last 4 weeks.
- You have not had surgery or radiation on your esophagus.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or on NSAIDs, steroids, or blood thinners that could affect healing.
