Who can take part

  • You must be in your first complete remission from AML, meaning less than 5% leukemia cells in your bone marrow.
  • You must have a donor that matches your tissue type (fully matched sibling or unrelated donor, or a half-matched related donor).
  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old (depending on donor type).
  • You must have good enough organ function (kidney, liver, lungs, heart) to safely undergo transplant.
  • You must not have had a prior bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
  • You must be willing to take venetoclax or placebo pills for a period before and after transplant.
