Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 and no older than 75 years old.
  • You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 1 year.
  • Your recent average blood sugar (HbA1c) is between 7% and 11%.
  • You are comfortable using a smartphone and willing to use a health app for your diabetes care.
  • You do not have serious liver or kidney problems (based on routine blood tests).
  • You have not used certain medications like steroids or weight‐loss drugs in the past 3 months.
