Who can take part

  • You are between 19 and 70 years old.
  • You are scheduled for elective (non-emergency) surgery under general anesthesia.
  • You will receive a muscle relaxant called rocuronium during anesthesia.
  • You do not have any muscle or nerve disorders.
  • Your kidneys are working well (no kidney disease or dialysis).
  • You have no history of jaw clenching, teeth grinding, or dental problems.
  • You are not allergic to the study drugs (sugammadex or rocuronium).
