Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old
  • You are 14 to 34 weeks pregnant or have had a baby within the past year
  • You have been diagnosed with major depression and it is moderate to severe
  • Your antidepressant dose has been steady for 4 weeks (or you're not taking any)
  • You have a psychiatrist, therapist, or other doctor overseeing your mental health care, plus an obstetrician
  • You are not planning to use ketamine, esketamine, or ECT during the study
