Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older.
  • You are currently pregnant or up to 12 months after giving birth.
  • You are having a current episode of depression or significant depressive symptoms.
  • You can understand English or German and are willing to attend study visits and complete procedures like brain stimulation, EEG (brain wave recordings), ECG (heart recordings), and provide hair and saliva samples.
  • Your current treatment (antidepressants or therapy) is stable or you are not taking any, and you agree not to change it during the study unless medically necessary.
  • You do not have a history of seizures, certain metal implants in your head, or other medical conditions that make this treatment unsafe.
