Who can take part

  • Your age must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • Burns must cover 20% or more of your body.
  • You must be on a breathing machine (ventilator).
  • You must be within 48 hours of the burn injury.
  • You cannot have a severe lung condition called ARDS at the time of admission.
