Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are in the intensive care unit (ICU) or intermediate care, and it's been less than 2 days since admission there.
- You've been in the hospital for less than 5 days.
- You have flu pneumonia confirmed by a positive test and chest X-ray or CT scan showing lung changes, plus symptoms like cough, chest pain, or trouble breathing.

- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have no other conditions that would make steroids unsafe (like active tuberculosis or fungal infection, or a severe immune system problem).
