Who can take part

  • You are a woman 18 or older.
  • You had a vaginal delivery in the last 12 months with severe bleeding (at least 1,000 mL or about 4 cups).
  • You are not currently pregnant.
  • You did not have a known bleeding disorder or low platelets before delivery.
  • You are not on long-term blood thinners or anti-clotting medication.
