Who can take part

  • Born through meconium-stained amniotic fluid
  • Born at 35 weeks or later
  • 10 to 14 days old now
  • Getting all feeds by mouth (or mostly by mouth with some tube feeds)
  • Breathing stable for 1-2 days before starting, and on low-flow oxygen or high-flow nasal cannula with low oxygen settings
  • Has not had caffeine in the last 5 days
