Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor cancer that first appeared within the last 5 years or has clear evidence of spread beyond the brain.
- You plan to start or have just started a type of cancer treatment that is expected to shrink brain tumors (e.g., targeted pills, immunotherapy, some chemotherapies, or certain hormone therapies).
- You have at least one brain metastasis that is not being treated with radiation or surgery, and all such tumors are no larger than 3 cm.
- You must be able to have MRI scans of the brain with contrast (dye) and the scan slices are very thin (1.5 mm or less).
- You are 18 or older, awake and self-caring most of the day (Karnofsky score >60), and willing to sign consent.
