HIMARS: Stereotactic radiation for prostate cancer spread

Who can take part

  • You have prostate cancer that has spread to bones or lymph nodes and has worsened after at least one standard treatment like hormone therapy or chemo.
  • You are able to get around and take care of yourself (ECOG score under 3).
  • Your cancer spread is in bones or lymph nodes that can safely be treated with targeted radiation.
  • Your blood counts are adequate: low white cells above 1,000, platelets above 50,000, or hemoglobin above 8 g/dL.
  • You are at least 18 years old and willing to follow the study schedule.
  • Your life expectancy is more than 3 months.
