  • You have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer that is locally advanced and cannot be completely removed by surgery.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for this cancer (like chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy).
  • You are generally in good health, able to care for yourself, and at least 18 years old.
  • Your kidney, liver, and blood cell counts are within a certain healthy range.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the trial.
